In 2023, 1,148 volunteers collected nearly 15,000 lbs. of Litter.
Our annual Bronx Cleanup Series are hosted in partnership with the NY Yankees, the City, and Corporate Partners like Amazon and Bronx Care. Want to join us again, or looking to get involved? The Bronx Series is an excellent way to engage and give back to your community. In May 2024, we’ll open up conversations with new and existing partners to see how we can collaborate to clean up the Bronx. Email partnerships@sanitationfoundation.org to get started.

BRONX SUMMER CLEANUP SERIES
Celebrating 50 Years of Hip Hop \\ Featuring Local Artists at Each Cleanup!

All volunteers received 1 voucher valid for two (2) tickets to select New York Yankees 2023 regular season home games. The volunteers at the site where the most litter was collected were invited to participate in a VIP Game Experience at Yankee Stadium on Friday, 9/8!

Comfortable clothing that can get dirty & closed-toe shoes.
Hats and sunglasses are also recommended.

All tools and necessary equipment will be provided
There is no onsite storage for valuables. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

We do our best to identify public restrooms for each event but we cannot always guarantee access. Please plan accordingly and reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Children under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult.

ALL volunteers will receive 1 ticket voucher valid for two (2) tickets to select New York Yankees 2023 regular season home games.

As part of our Bronx Summer Cleanup Series, we celebrated the 50th anniversary of hip hop, which got its start in the Bronx. Every cleanup incorporated a celebration of the people and places that gave rise to the genre and continue to define it today. Cleanups included artist performances, oral history tours, and community activations.
