    NYC Trash Academy is a free, 2-month educational series tailored for New Yorkers passionate about creating a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable city.

  • NYC Big Spring Clean 2026

    Every spring, we mobilize thousands of New Yorkers in a united mission to clean up our streets, parks, and public spaces. It’s the largest volunteer cleanup in NYC history!

  • Salute to Sanitation 2026

    This spring, we’re celebrating New York’s Strongest through Trucks of Art, a public art competition where 5 artists will paint active DSNY collection trucks. We’ll also host arts and culture programs that salute the dedication and pride of the DSNY workforce.

  • Bronx Summer Cleanup Series

    Summer 2025 marked Year 5 of our partnership with the New York Yankees. Under the rallying cry Don’t Do The Bronx Dirty, 412 volunteers came together to clean 139 blocks and collect more than 2,000 pounds of litter across four iconic neighborhoods.
