Volunteer Code of Conduct
This Volunteer Code of Conduct aims to clearly communicate the required standards of behavior while volunteering with the Sanitation Foundation. We expect our volunteers to act respectfully, honestly, and ethically while fulfilling their responsibilities and in their interactions with our staff, fellow volunteers, and community members.
Obligations and Expectations
All volunteers shall:
Treat all Sanitation Foundation employees, volunteers, and community members with respect, courtesy, and dignity. Bullying, mistreatment, and harassment of staff or other volunteers will not be tolerated by the Sanitation Foundation and are grounds for immediate dismissal from the program.
Not discriminate and will respect ethnic, national, religious, and cultural differences.
Not use illicit drugs, tobacco, or e-cigarettes in or around events or functions hosted by the Sanitation Foundation.
Obey all applicable local, state, and federal laws while participating in volunteer projects.
Refrain from wearing clothing that displays obscene language or offensive material while participating in Sanitation Foundation-hosted events.
Anti-Racism, Harassment, and Bullying
The Sanitation Foundation has a zero-tolerance policy for racism, discrimination, sexual harassment, and bullying of any kind.
These behaviors include but are not limited to offensive physical actions such as lewd gestures; statements meant to humiliate a person publicly or individually; the use of racial slurs or “jokes”; sexually explicit communication that is either written or spoken; any unwelcome physical contact with other volunteers, staff, or clients; any unwanted sexual attention; harassment due to a person’s race, color, gender, identity, religion, language, medical condition, age, culture, national origin, gender expression, disability, marital status, or sexual orientation.
Breaches of the Volunteer Code of Conduct
Failure to follow the Volunteer Code of Conduct may result in removal from the volunteer event and/or prohibition from future Sanitation Foundation events. If a volunteer has questions about the volunteer guidelines, including the code of conduct, or wishes to report a suspected violation of the volunteer guidelines, they may report them to a Sanitation Foundation team member at the event, or they can also be submitted directly to Human Resources (HR@Sanitationfoundation.org).

Este Código de conducta para voluntarios tiene como objetivo comunicar de manera clara los estándares de comportamiento requeridos durante el voluntariado con Sanitation Foundation. Esperamos que nuestros voluntarios actúen de forma respetuosa, honesta y ética durante el cumplimiento de sus responsabilidades e interacciones con los miembros de nuestro personal, nuestros compañeros voluntarios y los miembros de la comunidad.
Obligaciones y expectativas
Los voluntarios:
Deben tratar a todos los empleados, voluntarios y miembros de la comunidad de Sanitation Foundation con respeto, cortesía y dignidad. Sanitation Foundation no tolerará el hostigamiento, el maltrato ni el acoso al personal ni a otros voluntarios y será motivo de despido inmediato del programa.
No deben discriminar y deben respetar las diferencias étnicas, nacionales, religiosas y culturales.
No deben consumir drogas ilícitas, tabaco o cigarrillos electrónicos en los eventos o actos organizados por Sanitation Foundation o en los alrededores.

Incumplimientos del Código de conducta para voluntarios
El incumplimiento del Código de conducta para voluntarios puede resultar en la expulsión del evento de voluntariado y/o en la prohibición de participar en futuros eventos de Sanitation Foundation. Si un voluntario tiene preguntas sobre las normas de voluntariado, incluido el código de conducta, o desea denunciar una presunta infracción de las normas de voluntariado, puede hacerlo ante un miembro del equipo de Sanitation Foundation en el evento o también puede escribirle directamente a Recursos Humanos (HR@Sanitationfoundation.org).

违反志愿者行为守则
志愿者如未遵守志愿者行为守则，可能会被要求退出志愿者活动和/或禁止参加未来的 Sanitation Foundation 活动。如果志愿者对志愿者指南（包括行为守则）有疑问，或者希望举报涉嫌违反志愿者指南的行为，可以在活动中向 Sanitation Foundation 团队成员举报，也可以直接将相关报告提交给人力资源部（HR@Sanitationfoundation.org）。
