Whether you’re a corporation, nonprofit, or interested individual, there are many ways to volunteer with us. We host and support volunteer events across the city, all designed to educate New Yorkers about NYC Sanitation’s essential services and the role we all play in creating a cleaner, healthier city. Community Groups
Want to clean up your neighborhood? If you get a group together of two or more people, we will provide you with everything you need to get started including loaning tools and planning logistics.
Individual Volunteers
Interested in participating in a cleanup? Register to join us at an upcoming event — volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome and encouraged to attend our community cleanups.
